1-Hydrazino-3-(methylthio)propan-2-ol is one of important nifuratel intermediates.
What is Nifuratel Nifuratel is effective against bacteria, trichomoniasis and candida that cause infections in women's reproductive system. Nifuratel mainly inhibits the growth of bacteria by interfering with its enzyme system. It is difficult to penetrate the placenta and has no teratogenic effect.
Indications of nifuratel 1. Bacterial vaginosis, trichomonal vaginitis, candidal vaginitis and vulvitis. 2. Urinary system infection. 3. Gastrointestinal amebiasis and giardiasis.
