ASTM A537 CL2 Mechanical properties: Tensile Strength σb(MPa) : 550-690 (thickness under 65mm); 515-655 (thickness between 65-100mm); 485-620(thickness between 100-150mm) Yield Strength σ0.2 : ≥415(thickness under 65mm); ≥380 (thickness between 65-100mm); ≥315(thickness between 100-150mm) Elongation δ5(%) : ≥ 22 (thickness under 100mm); ≥ 20(thickness between 100-150mm) 3.Application: ASTM A537 CL2 steel plates are engineered to be used in pressure vessel applications.ASTM A537 CL2 steel is a higher yield and tensile strength material used in the fabrication of pressurised vessels and steel boilers.
