Specs:High Specificity, High Purity YaxinBio Enterokinases are highly purified recombinant bovine enterokinases. The enzyme has been extensively purified and there is no trace of other contaminating proteases. Enterokinase is a specific protease that cleaves lysine C-terminal preceded by four aspartic acids: Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys. However, enterokinases do not cleave if this lysine is followed by a proline. Enterokinase can remove N-terminal fusion tags of proteins. Enterokinase are therefore very useful for removing unwanted tags.
