  Physical and Chemical Feature:
  Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose is an anionic linear macromolecular structure cellulose ether. White or ivory fiberized celluflour or white powder, oderless, tasteless. Easily dissolved in cold or hot water to form a clear solution of certain viscosity.
  
  Application
  Ceramic grade CMC/Sodium carboxy methyl cellulose cmc for ceramic glaze C1592
  CMC can be used in ceramic body, glazing pulp, and decoration. Used in ceramic body, it is a good strengthening agent, which can strengthen the mold ability of mud and sand materials, help the shaping of the base and increase the folding strength of the green body. Used in glazing pulp and decoration, it is a binder that plays a role of suspending, liquefacient, and keeping water.
  1. Applications in ceramic body
  Small usage, improve the mold ability of mud and sand material and the folding strength of the green body obviously.
  The ignition loss is good, no residue after burning.
  Good suspending and spreading property can avoid the coagulation of raw materials.
  Strong resistance to mechanical wear, during ball-milling or mechanical stirring, few molecular chains will be broken.
  2. Applications in glazing pulp
  Excellent in spreading and colloid protecting, it can make the glazing pulp in a stable dispersed status.
  Enhance the surface tension of the glaze materials, prevent water spreading into the base, increase the smoothness of the glaze.
  It can adjust the flowing property of the glazing pulp just in small usage, easy for glazing.
  Improve the binding ability of the base, increase the intensity of the glaze surface significantly and prevent glaze dropping off.
  The smoothness of the glaze surface is fine, and the glazing pulp is stable.
  3. Application in decoration
  Good resistance to acid and alkali, smooth in filtration, lower the filter washing frequency and reduce the color difference.
  The flowing property is good, easy and smooth in printing, no insoluble substance.
