H.W. Brainerd turned the business operation responsibilities over to the youngest of his three sons in 1979. Left with a legacy of integrity and customer commitment, Mathew Brainerd entered new markets including wholesale pharmaceutical, cosmetic, contract packaging and logistic facilitating for larger organizations. With its 1000-foot rail spur and bulk storage capacity, Brainerd Chemical has strengthened its support of medical research and manufacturing facilities. Located on 10 acres encompassing 5 buildings designed specifically for our packaging operations Brainerd Chemical has capabilities exceeding 1000 drums per week. Difficult to handle products such as 99% Nitric Acid, 70% Hydrofluoric Acid, 50% Hydrofluoric Acid and Formaldehyde as well as Hydrochloric Acid, Sulfuric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Ferric Chloride and Sodium Hypochlorite are some of the bulk storage items handled in our facility. Brainerd is the largest producer of 50% Citric Acid and 70% Isopropyl Alcohol in Oklahoma. High purity research and medical use chemicals continue to be a cornerstone of our product line.Today, Brainerd Chemical services over 2500 customers in 40 states. Research quantities to bulk truck or railcar are supported by our facility both inbound and outbound. Brainerd trucks deliver drums, totes and bulk liquids as well as dry products to our customer docks. Our facility is a FREE ENTERPRISE ZONE giving us the ability to import chemical products directly to our location with customs clearing on site.
